Absolutely incredible experience and our highlight of our trip definitely a must book! Our guide was amazing he was so knowledgeable about the Aurora and you could tell how much he loves what he does, he went out of his way to give us the best possible chance of seeing the lights even driving us all the way to Sweden for clear skies. And he was incredible at tracking it he could tell you where the Aurora was in the sky before we could see it, with his own eyes, and there it was and loved educating us around how it works too. We loved the experience so much that we booked with him for 2 nights and both nights were such an experience But what made it even better was seeing how excited he still gets when the lights appear even with seeing it all the time he was more excited than we were when it came out! Really made the whole experience feel personal and not just another tour. I could not recommend this tour enough and unforgettable experience and absolutely worth it!

Excellent experience! It was hard to even find any tours that were offered in the summer and this one was fantastic. Laif was so kind and knowledgeable. I ended up being the only person on the tour and he was so kind to still take me around. I know that a lot of places will only go if you have at least two people. I enjoyed all the places we went and that I got a nice little taste of summer in the Arctic. It was a lot of fun chatting with Laif about life in Finland. Absolutely incredible experience! ✨ We spent the last two nights hunting for the Northern Lights with Liev, and he was exceptional from beginning to end. He truly did everything possible to make our dream of seeing the aurora come true — and we couldn’t be more grateful. Leiv who took us to see the northern lights has extensive knowledge on the subject he researches well and he is extremely flexible when it comes to seeing the Northern Lights. We started early from Rovaniemi in Finland and reached the north west part of Sweden where the Northern lights were forecasted, we stopped at a place which was awesome where we could see the Milky way and good place to see the lights, however because of the fog the Auroras did not appear. Leiv promptly drove further north and boy o boy the lights appeared. He is so aware of the surroundings that he could spot the lights from the car while driving! We again saw them while returning back to Finland and this time we could also take some lovely pictures His extensive knowledge and he also answered all my questions patiently made my night!! He is definitely worth going with and a lovely person to converse. Will come back again with him to see the beautiful Northern Lights!!

A spectacular experience! The booking went fast and he kept us up to date if the night would give us a good view of the aurora. We travelled to Salla in a small group (4 people) due to the cloudy weather. During the long ride, he was social and knowledgeable. The served tea was delicious and the pictures he took were professional. The excitement of the guide was very infectious. I would recommend him!

An amazing tour guide, I would definitely recommend. We found him through the official rovaniemi info site and contacted him personally. The communication before the trip was very clear and smooth. The trip itself took us to the border with Russia but all the way over there he kept us entertained with interesting trivia about Rovaniemi, the region and even Finland as a whole. To top it all off, we saw the aurora and it was amazing. The guide showed us how to take pictures ourselfs (settings etc) and took some more professional fotos of us as well and they don't even do the experience justice. Big thanks! A night to remember forever!

Coole kleine Tour (4 Gäste). Wir sind bis an die Grenze zu Russland gefahren (2h von Rovaniemi), um Polarlichter zu sehen und tatsächlich hat es geklappt. Und die Fotos, die unser Guide mit seiner Kamera gemacht hat, waren der Hammer. Ich habe keinen Vergleich, aber ich hatte den Eindruck an einen seriösen Anbieter geraten zu sein. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt (als alleinreisende Frau auch nicht selbstverständlich) und freue mich sehr darüber, dass wir tatsächlich Polarlichter sehen konnten. Sogar in mehreren Farben. 😊 Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.
